Is the holiday spirit calling you? The arrival of winter in Strasbourg marks a truly magical season for Alsace. Are you ready to immerse yourself in the festive ambiance? We'll gather at 9 am at Parc de l'Étoile, where our minibus awaits, and embark on an exploration of the most picturesque Christmas Markets in this stunning area of France.

Our journey begins in the quaint town of Riquewhir. Here, we will enjoy an hour-and-a-half walking tour, meandering through the cobbled streets while soaking in the glow of twinkling lights and festive decorations that embellish the charming buildings. The town is brimming with artisan Christmas shops, making it difficult to resist picking up beautiful ornaments to add to your holiday decor!

Your senses will be delighted by the tempting scents of traditional seasonal delights wafting from the market stalls. Be sure to sample some pretzels and "bredele de Noël", which are special Alsatian gingerbread cookies made exclusively for this festive season.

Next, we shall venture to Kaysersberg, a city that thrives with festive transformation during Christmas. The vibrant Kaysersberg Christmas market, positioned right in front of the Église Sainte-Croix, operates across all four weekends of Advent, welcoming visitors on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. During the weekdays, we will explore the city's enchanting historic center, featuring stunning half-timbered houses, charming window displays, and winding cobblestone paths. From this vantage point, breathtaking views of the medieval castle await us.

At the conclusion of our tour, we will return to Strasbourg, with an expected arrival around 7:30 pm.
