Chrissi Island Cruise
Description
If you're looking for thrilling experiences in Ierapetra, this cruise to Chrissi Island is a must. Join us as we navigate the southern shores of Crete, discovering a picturesque islet nestled in the Libyan Sea—an adventure awaits!
Cruise Overview
We will convene at the Ierapetra port at the designated time, embarking on a serene boat journey. Are you ready to set sail?
Our route takes us into the Libyan Sea, the stretch of the Mediterranean that lies between Crete and the African mainland. After approximately one hour, we will approach the vicinity of Chrissi Island. This enchanting Greek islet is uninhabited, elevating the charm of its pristine waters—a hidden gem of tranquility!
We will anchor off the island's shoreline, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim and take in the mesmerizing clarity of Chrissi’s waters. Following this, you’ll have around two hours of free time dedicated to snorkeling in this remarkable aquatic sanctuary. Please remember that, in an effort to protect its natural landscape, access to the beach and the islet’s interior is restricted.
When lunchtime approaches, you’ll have the opportunity to savor a meal at your leisure. Afterward, we will lift anchor and circumnavigate the island, admiring its stunning coastal features. We’ll pause near a beach for another chance to swim in the inviting waters and provide equipment like fins, snorkel masks, and boards for various water activities.
To conclude our day, we will make our way back to the port, with an expected return around six hours after our departure.
