Explore Cinque Terre by Train
At the appointed time, you will gather at a designated meeting point in La Spezia. From there, hop on a train for a brief coastal journey to Vernazza, renowned for its vibrant charm among the villages of this region. This scenic ride, lasting approximately 15 minutes, offers splendid vistas over the Ligurian Sea.
Upon arrival in this charming coastal haven, recognized as one of the most picturesque of the Cinque Terre—translated as "Five Lands" in Italian, a reference to the five coastal settlements—you will have free time to explore the winding alleys and take in the stunning contrasts of the brightly colored homes against the crystal-clear turquoise waters. This sight is truly enchanting!
The next stop will be Monterosso, the largest of the Cinque Terre, celebrated for its pristine sandy beaches and clear waters. Here, you will uncover the culinary treasures of northern Italy, including the renowned limoncino. Often referred to as limoncello in the southern regions, this delightful yellow liqueur is a true delicacy!
Another noteworthy visit will be to Riomaggiore. Nestled on a hillside overlooking the Ligurian Sea, you will admire breathtaking views while observing the local fishermen as they go about their daily activities in the harbor.

We recommend being at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, which is different depending on where you have chosen to meet:
- La Spezia cruise port (Largo Michele Fiorillo): departure time is 9:15 am.
- La Spezia train station: meet in front of the red statue at the main entrance at 9:50 am.

- If you're arriving in La Spezia on a cruise, please bear in mind that after disembarking, you'll have to catch a bus to take you to the cruise port.
- We recommend wearing comfortable shoes on this tour.
