At the designated time, we will collect you from your hotel in Bangalore to commence our exploration of one of India's most cosmopolitan cities.
We will first visit the extensive Lalbagh Botanical Garden, spanning over 968,751 square feet (90,000 square meters). This garden houses the largest collection of tropical plants in India, along with a picturesque lake and an impressive aquarium. Stroll amid ancient trees and exotic flowers, and take in the sights of the renowned Crystal Hall, which draws inspiration from the Crystal Palace in London.
The next stop is the grand Vidhana Soudha building. This architectural jewel serves as the seat of the state legislature for the region. You'll be struck by its Neo-Dravidian style, ornately carved granite facade, and golden dome, all built in the 1950s by thousands of skilled workers and artisans.
Continuing east, we will arrive at the stunning Bangalore Palace, constructed by a ruler of the Wadiyar dynasty and reminiscent of Windsor Castle. Within its walls, the Ganapathi temple, dating back to the 16th century, can be found.
Finally, we will conclude our tour at Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace. Originally intended as a defensive structure against potential invasions, this palace functioned primarily as the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler. You will appreciate the teak wood building adorned with sculpted columns and decorative balconies.
Our private guided tour will wrap up back at your hotel, with a total duration of approximately 5 hours.
