Embark on an off-roading adventure that takes you to one of the most remarkable and secluded areas of the Wellington Coast, a sanctuary for natural life and vibrant ecosystems. One of the highlights of this journey will be a visit to a seal colony!

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Wellington and travel southward, leaving the urban landscape behind in favor of breathtaking coastal vistas.

During our journey, we will traverse untouched native forest, offering opportunities to spot indigenous bird species such as the tui, kaka, and kereru, along with the majestic native falcon. As we move along, we will discover an historic jungle and navigate through private pastures home to cattle, sheep, and cows.

On a clear day, the views will be nothing short of spectacular, showcasing the Cook Strait, the South Island of New Zealand, and the stunning Kaikoura Mountains.

Upon arriving at the coastline, we'll visit a New Zealand seal colony, where you can admire these charming creatures in their natural setting. You'll have the chance to learn about their ecology, habitat, and conservation efforts, making this a special outing for those passionate about nature and wildlife.

We will conclude our exploration and return to Wellington, dropping you off at your hotel after a fulfilling 3.5 hours of discovery.
