It's also mandatory to carry a valid passport or any other necessary documentation (depending on your nationality) and to have valid travel insurance covering medical expenses to enter Uruguay and Argentina, as well as a reservation number.
In case you do not have travel insurance, the Immigration Department may prevent you from entering the country.
