Description
If you are looking to immerse yourself in a day filled with vineyards, culture, and natural beauty, this thorough tour of Tarija is a must! You'll explore wineries, indulge in local products, and be captivated by the stunning landscapes of the Tarija Valley.
Comprehensive Tour of Tarija
At a time that suits you best, we will collect you from your hotel to embark on an extensive journey through the offerings of this picturesque Bolivian valley. Are you prepared to engage in a day rich in culture, vineyards, and scenic views?
Your adventure in the Tarija Valley will commence with visits to prominent wineries known for producing exquisite high-altitude wines, including Campos de Solana, Juan Diablo, and La Casa Vieja. You will also partake in a wine tasting session at one of the wineries, complemented by delicious cheese, ham, and traditional pastries. You’ll uncover the reasons this wine has gained national acclaim in Bolivia!
Following your exploration of the vineyard vistas, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of Tarija, discovering the city’s key attractions, including Tres Pasos Al Frente square, Cuatro Nombres avenue, and the impressive Bicentennial Bridge.
At noon, we will pause in the Chapaca countryside for a hearty lunch featuring grilled meat. Once we’ve recharged, we’ll proceed to the Coimata spa, where you can enjoy its natural pools.
Our tour will also lead us to the charming village of San Lorenzo, where the residence of Eustaquio Moto Méndez, a notable figure in Bolivia’s independence movement, can be visited.
In conclusion, we will traverse by the San Jacinto Lagoon and cross the Guadalquivir River via the Zapateo Bridge as we head back to Tarija. After a fulfilling 8-hour experience, we will return you to the original pickup spot.
