Trekking in Connemara National Park
Gather at the Visitor Centre of Connemara National Park at a time that suits you, and set off on a hike along one of the four trails leading to the summit of Diamond Hill, recognized as Connemara's iconic peak.
This trail, which spans approximately 7 kilometres, will guide you through the stunning scenery of the Irish park, teeming with local wildlife, such as deer. Along the journey, your guide will share intriguing insights about Connemara, covering its rich history and the lifestyle of those who live in harmony with the surrounding nature.
At an elevation of 500 metres, Diamond Hill offers breathtaking vistas of the entire national park. After capturing some remarkable photographs and savoring the pristine air from this elevated viewpoint, we will begin our descent back to the starting location.
Your trekking expedition will conclude after three hours of exploring the captivating Connemara National Park.

Important information
We will meet at the entrance of the Connemara National Park Visitor Center Restaurant, Letterfrack. We recommend being at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
