At the specified time, we will collect you from your accommodation to commence our gastronomic exploration of La Serena, a city where history and traditional cuisine are intertwined.

Our excursion will kick off with a leisurely walk through the historic district, revealing its colonial buildings and vibrant markets. A visit to the Archaeological Museum will provide insights into the history and culture that have crafted the unique flavors of this area.

We will then proceed to La Recova market, a hidden gem bustling with traditional merchandise. Here, you will have the chance to taste local specialties and browse handcrafted items. A stop for lunch at a local eatery will offer you a delightful tasting experience of traditional Chilean cuisine.

Continuing our adventure, we’ll stroll along the picturesque Avenida del Mar towards the adjacent city of Coquimbo. Renowned for its fishing heritage, Coquimbo is an ideal spot to relish its famous seafood. At the port, we will sample an array of fresh catches from the Pacific, including seafood empanadas and ceviche at La Herradura.

Our final destination is Totoralillo, known as a surfer’s haven. Here, as the fiery sunset unfolds and the waves gently crash, you will be treated to a selection of steamed seafood, a beloved local dish, providing a fitting conclusion to our food journey.
