Corcovado National Park Day Trip
Description
Discover one of the planet's most vibrant ecosystems on this full-day excursion to Corcovado National Park, which we will access via a boat from Bahía Ballena.
Full-Day Excursion to Corcovado National Park
Are you ready to explore one of the most biodiverse locations worldwide? We will gather at the main avenue in Bahía, located in Uvita, at the scheduled time to travel towards the coast of Bahía Ballena (Whale Bay), where a boat will transport us to the Corcovado National Park. Let us embark on this adventure!
Our journey will commence as we navigate along the Pacific coastline toward the Osa Peninsula. During our ride, we may be fortunate enough to spot joyful dolphins and occasionally whales that frequent these Costa Rican waters. Remember to keep your camera handy!
Upon arrival at our destination, we'll engage in a hiking adventure through the wild beaches and the tropical rainforest of the park. This remarkable site in Costa Rica boasts one of the richest biodiversity found anywhere. As we explore the trails, be on the lookout for the vibrant red-and-green macaws, elusive tapirs, and playful squirrel monkeys moving above us in the treetops. Did you know that Corcovado has an astonishing variety of tree species per hectare compared to most tropical forests globally?
Next, we will take a leisurely pause to savor a lunch while enjoying stunning views of Isla Island, embraced by tranquil nature. After our meal, you'll have free time to roam the area, unwind, or simply revel in the beauty surrounding you.
Finally, we will return to our boat to commence the journey back. We will bid farewell at our starting point after approximately 6 to 8 hours together. What a memorable day!
