Corcovado River Rafting
Upon booking, you may select between a 13-kilometer (8-mile) or a 22-kilometer (14-mile) rafting course. Both options come with an English-speaking guide, all necessary gear for the activity, and a light snack or picnic lunch.
Half-day rafting (3-4.5 hours)
We will begin at the base camp and proceed to the river by vehicle. Upon arrival, a brief safety briefing will be conducted before we embark on our rafting adventure!
This rafting tour on the Corcovado River covers a distance of 13km (8 mi) over approximately 2 hours. During this moderate path, expect to navigate through class II and III rapids while immersing yourself in the stunning landscape of the Andes Mountains.
The trip concludes near the cement bridge crossing the Corcovado River, where we will treat ourselves to some hot beverages, sponge cakes, and local sweets known as "facturas". Afterwards, we'll return to the base camp.
- Departure times: available at 10 am and 2 pm
Full-day rafting (6-7.5 hours)
Opting for the full-day adventure, we will also gather at the base camp and travel to the Río Hielo region to tackle the rapids of the Corcovado River.
After receiving a brief orientation, we'll embark on the longest rafting route in Argentina. This leg takes approximately 4 hours on a 22-kilometer (14-mile) route with moderate to high difficulty. Brace yourself to conquer class III and IV rapids!
Midway through our excursion, we will pause for a picnic lunch featuring a steak sandwich, a piece of fruit, a sweet treat, and a bottle of water.
Once we recharge, we will continue rafting until we reach the Carreleufú footbridge. Following this, transportation will be arranged back to the base camp.

Hotel Pickup
For added convenience, you can select options that include pickup from your hotel in Esquel. Here are the times for pickup:
- For the 10:00 am option: pickup at 8:30 am
- For the 2:00 pm option: pickup at 12:30 pm
If you prefer not to include pickup, you can meet at the designated time at the rafting center of Camping Sol y Luna (Route 17).

Activity Times and Starting Points
For activities with pickup
We'll pick you up at the hotel in Esquel that you indicated in your reservation. Please be ready a few minutes in advance.
These are the pickup times:
- For the 10 am activity: pickup will take place at 8:30 am
- For the 2 pm activity: pickup will be at 12:30 pm
For activities without pickup
At the scheduled time, please meet us at the Comarka Rafting center: Comarka Rafting base, Route 17, Camping Sol y Luna. Access to the Corcovado River is on the left-hand side. Please be punctual.

Important to Note
- We recommend wearing footwear that can get wet, a towel, a swimsuit, and a change of clothes.
- This activity is not suitable for people with a history of cardio-respiratory problems, those who have had surgery recently, those with spinal problems, and/or pregnant women.
Passport
On the day of the activity, the local supplier may request a physical passport from all participants.
