Activity Overview

We will convene as scheduled at the entrance of the Corte Fornello winery, ready to embark on a delightful culinary journey!

Guided by the knowledgeable hosts, we will delve into the art of crafting fresh handmade pasta from the ground up. We will participate in mixing the dough and forming various traditional pasta shapes, focusing particularly on the esteemed Valeggio tortellini, a regional specialty. Additionally, we will produce other pasta varieties, such as spaghetti and tagliatelle, each possessing unique textures and characteristics.

Within this interactive one-hour session, we will be enveloped in a warm atmosphere, gaining insights from the chef. No prior experience is required; merely a curiosity and the eagerness to savor genuine Italian cuisine will suffice. To enhance the experience, we will enjoy a glass of "Dorè" Blanco Frizzante wine, perfectly complementing our culinary endeavors.

Following the pasta workshop, we will continue our experience with a 40-minute guided exploration of the winery. A member of the family will lead us through the picturesque vineyards, the vinification and bottling facilities, as well as the historic barrel cellar from the 18th century. Each area showcases the deep-seated passion behind their wine production.

After learning about the winemaking process, we will indulge in the much-anticipated moment of tasting four carefully selected wines, served alongside a platter of cured meats and artisanal cheeses. Here’s to an unforgettable experience! To conclude, we will also demonstrate the proper technique for cooking the tortellini we've crafted earlier.

Approximately three hours later, we will wrap up this gastronomic adventure at the Corte Fornello winery.
