Day 1: Pangkalan Bun - Kumai - Tanjung Harapan

Our adventure commences with a pick-up in Pangkalan Bun at the scheduled time, leading us to Kumai. Here, our superior category vessel awaits to embark on the cruise.

As we navigate up the Sekonyer River, we will move towards the remarkable Tanjung Harapan National Park, known for its breathtaking beauty. This area is also expected to provide our first sighting of orangutans.

Day 2: Tanjung Harapan

The second day is dedicated to exploring the Tanjung Harapan National Park in pursuit of orangutans.

Let’s begin our exploration! We’ll visit two distinct reserves that allow us to observe orangutans in their natural habitat as they forage and socialize. Additionally, we may encounter other wildlife sharing this environment, such as gibbons, proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, and various endemic species.

As sunset approaches, we'll anchor near a colonia of proboscis monkeys or a nipa palm area, where you can marvel at the enchanting light display of thousands of fireflies illuminating the night sky.

Day 3: Tanjung Harapan - Pangkalan Bun

Following a sumptuous breakfast aboard the vessel, we'll make our way back to Pangkalan Bun, where we will transfer you to the airport or your hotel, allowing you to further explore Indonesia.

4-day cruise

If you wish to extend your adventure, consider joining our 4-day private cruise. This option includes an additional day to engage deeply with the affectionate orangutans residing in the Tanjung Harapan National Park.

Accommodation

Throughout the journey, you will be accommodated on a 62-foot (19-meter) private superior-category cruise ship, crafted for five passengers (with two extra berths). This vessel includes a fixed cabin on the lower deck and a mobile cabin that transforms on the upper deck at night. The main area is equipped with air-conditioning and offers a private restroom for guests.
