Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Ibagué at the pre-arranged time, setting the stage for our expedition towards the magnificent Arroz National Park.

Our first stop will be at the hacienda La Guaira, a family-owned establishment dedicated to the cultivation of Tolimense rice since 1977. This farm is a key player in enhancing the profile of rice, the most widely consumed food globally, while revealing some of the most profound culinary secrets of Colombia.

During our visit, immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes, observe the flourishing crops, venture through secluded waterfalls, and perhaps even take a refreshing swim in the Alvarado River. We will also travel on a traditional transguaira, a unique rice tractor that offers an authentic experience as we navigate through the fields, learning fascinating insights into the rice production process from a knowledgeable farmer.

Following our exploration, indulge in a delightful traditional meal, featuring rice, salad, a fillet, juice, and a sweet treat. Post-lunch, feel free to unwind in the hammocks at the hacienda, accompanied by the soothing melodies of the river.
