Day Trip Details
We will begin by picking you up from your hotel in Juan José Castelli at the scheduled time to embark towards the enchanting Chaqueño Mountain.
Upon arrival in the area known as La Armonía, we will reach the entrance to El Impenetrable National Park, where our adventure into the wonders of the local fauna, flora, and cultural traditions will commence.
As we delve deeper into the national park, we will make thoughtful stops along the way for photographs and light hiking. Wandering through the majestic quebracho, carob, and lapacho trees, you will gain insights into the diverse species that populate this remarkable ecosystem.
By noon, we will arrive at a restaurant situated along the Bermejo River. Here, you will have the opportunity to savor charque empanadas and freshly cut meat, providing a taste of local culinary delights. Post-lunch, we will continue along a scenic route that follows the Bermejo River, identifying the array of tree species flourishing in this part of the forest.
After the meal, an optional kayaking activity on the Bermejo River awaits those interested. Paddling through the tranquil waters offers a unique and serene way to engage with the natural surroundings. Alternatively, feel free to stroll around the area and explore at your own leisure.
Concluding our adventure, we will enjoy a delightful snack featuring natural infusions alongside traditional pancakes made from honey and carob flour. Additionally, a visit to a trade school awaits, a place dedicated to handcrafted artistry where you can discover distinctive pieces and gain insights into local craftsmanship.
Our enriching day will culminate as we return to Juan José Castelli. You will be transported back to your hotel, and we will part ways after a fulfilling 13-hour excursion.

The local team consults the National Parks Association, who may restrict access to the park if the road conditions are impassable due to rain. In that case, priority will be given to rescheduling your day trip to the first day the road is passable.
