Day Trip to Itacaré

Immerse yourself in a day of natural beauty by exploring the stunning Atlantic Forest. Join us for an excursion to Itacaré from Ilhéus.

Description

Your adventure will commence between 8:00 and 8:40 am with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Ilhéus. We will board a bus that will navigate along the scenic BA-001 highway, recognized as one of Brazil's most picturesque routes. The journey begins at 9 am, and you will soon see why this highway is celebrated!

As we travel, you will be surrounded by the stunning views of the Atlantic Forest, featuring its vibrant vegetation, flowing streams, and serene, less-crowded beaches. The striking contrast between the sapphire ocean and the lush greenery of the forest will leave you in awe.

Upon reaching Itacaré, a charming village celebrated for its breathtaking scenery and vibrant culture, we will embark on our exploration by strolling along the Praia da Concha. Here, you can visit the Ponta do Xaréu viewpoint, which is recognized as one of the top spots in town to witness the sunset!

Following this, you will have some free time for lunch at a nearby restaurant of your choice before we regroup to head towards the city center.

In the city center, feel free to explore the lively Rua da Pituba, a street famous for its array of stores and craft shops. If you prefer, you can take this opportunity to visit the beaches of Rezende and Tiririca, where a delightful walk by the sea awaits you.

At the end of the day, we will reconvene and board the bus to return to Ilhéus, with an anticipated arrival at your hotel around 5 pm.
