Meet your guide in the heart of Antequera city centre, ready to begin your guided tour of the Antequera Dolmens and El Torcal.
The first stop on your excursion will be at the El Romeral dolmen, an impressive stone construction typical of the prehistoric Mediterranean region. Inside, we'll find a dome atop tiers, emblematic of the prehistoric Mediterranean tradition.
Next, you'll visit the Antequera Dolmens of Menga and Viera, renowned as some of the most significant megalithic structures in Europe. Accompanied by your guide, you'll explore these prehistoric temples and burial grounds, uncovering insights into how, when, and why they were constructed.
Our tour will also lead us to the Torcal de Antequera, an extraordinary natural site characterized by karstic rock formations. Here, we'll partake in a guided tour of the highlights, where we can spot fossilized remnants of the marine life that thrived in the area during Jurassic times.
