Elephant Rock Trip
Description
Discover one of Saudi Arabia's most incredible natural attractions on this journey to Elephant Rock. We will traverse the Al-Ula desert to reach this remarkable site.
Journey to Elephant Rock
Your adventure begins between 3:15 pm and 3:45 pm; we will collect you from your accommodation in Al-Ula and embark on a minibus ride to Elephant Rock. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking vistas of the Saudi desert.
Upon arrival, you’ll disembark and have the opportunity to explore the surroundings at your own pace. Referred to in Arabic as Jabal Al Fil, this iconic rock formation stands at an impressive height of 52 meters (170 feet), resembling an elephant in a striking manner.
Its elephant-like shape might lead you to believe it’s a sculpted creation, but it is a testament to nature's artistry, formed over ages through the erosion caused by rain and wind. Make sure to capture this gigantic sandstone marvel with your camera. Additionally, the stunning backdrop of the sandy desert offers countless opportunities for photography.
Your excursion will conclude between 7 pm and 7:30 pm with a drop-off back at your hotel in Al-Ula.
