Description
We'll convene at Calle Juan Ruiz de Alarcón in Taxco at the specified time and set off towards the Ex-Hacienda of San Juan Bautista, recognized as one of Guerrero's few medieval-styled ranches.
After around thirty minutes of travel, we will arrive in the town known as La Meca de la Plata and commence an exploration of the process involved in processing silver and local metals dating back to the 16th century.
As we navigate this remarkable estate, we will uncover its intramural hydraulic system, including sights of the aqueduct, the stone mills, and the tanks utilized for amalgamating mercury with stones in the pursuit of silver extraction.
Upon completing our discovery of Guerrero's silver heritage, we will make our way back to Taxco, wrapping up this enriching 3-hour excursion.
