Your adventure begins at the scheduled time, when we will collect you from your accommodation in Arenal and head towards the Fortuna River Waterfall Private Reserve, a gem of natural beauty in Costa Rica.

Upon our arrival at the reserve, we will trek through the lush forest surrounding the Fortuna River Waterfall, offering an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the biodiversity of the region. Let’s set off on this brief hiking trail! Afterward, we will board a tractor-like vehicle that will transport us to a viewpoint offering spectacular vistas of the Fortuna River Waterfall.

From this vantage point, we will ascend a staircase woven through the jungle, comprised of 500 steps, leading us directly to the stunning base of the Fortuna River Waterfall. Along the path, we may encounter native wildlife, including toucans, oropendolas, and butterflies.

At the waterfall, we will take in the breathtaking view of its remarkable 70-meter (230 feet) drop and, as a delightful bonus, you'll have a chance to enjoy a refreshing swim in its waters! Following this invigorating experience, we will head back to the viewpoint and make our way to the Maluku indigenous village, where we will be graciously received and gain insights into their culture.

To round off this excursion, we will treat you to a traditional Costa Rican meal. With your energy replenished, we will make our return journey to Arenal, arriving at your hotel approximately 6 hours later.
