Excursion to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square
Your day of exploration starts at 9 am, with a meet-up at the Tianjin International Cruise Port, followed by a drive towards Beijing. In just under two hours, we will arrive in the remarkable capital of the People's Republic of China.
Our first stop is at Tiananmen Square, where you'll find the historic Qianmen Tower and the impressive Mausoleum of Mao. Interestingly, this square holds the title of the largest public square worldwide.
The next segment of our journey leads us to the Forbidden City, a pivotal architectural treasure of the nation. Here, we will explore the various courtyards and halls that notable Chinese leaders have walked through over the last 500 years.
Your exceptional private tour will conclude back at your Beijing hotel by 5 pm.
Visit to the Great Wall of China
Ahead of this excursion, we will meet you at the Tianjin International Cruise Port, after which we will drive approximately 120 miles to the Huairou District, home to a remarkable segment of the iconic Great Wall of China. This specific area, known as Mutianyu, boasts the largest and most well-preserved stretch of this historic wall.
