Our journey begins at the prearranged meeting point at the port of Vila Franca do Campo, where we will set off to discover some of the island's most remarkable natural attractions in São Miguel.

Our first destination will be the Furnas Valley, renowned for its fumaroles and geysers that emit bursts of steaming water, enveloping the area in an otherworldly mist. Ascending to a viewpoint, we will marvel at the Furnas crater lake, which rests directly atop the volcano, with vapors rising gracefully from its depths.

Continuing our adventure, we will reach the village, where a traditional lunch awaits: a savory stew cooked in an underground oven, a true local delicacy! After savoring this meal, you will have an hour to freely wander through the quaint streets of Furnas.

Next, we will visit the Terra Nostra Garden, a lush botanical reserve showcasing an array of native and exotic flora. This garden boasts one of the world's most extensive camellia collections, featuring over 600 different varieties.

To enhance your experience, visitors will have the chance to soak in the volcanic hot springs within the garden, immersing themselves in the soothing, mineral-rich waters — a perfect way to unwind.

The tour will conclude around 5:30 pm at the original meeting location.
