Galician Mussel Boat Excursion + Tasting

At your selected time, we will gather at the O Grove port, where we will board the vessel and embark on our journey through the Arosa estuary, the longest estuary along the Galician shoreline. All aboard!

As we navigate these waters, you will witness the vital role of fishing, shellfishing, and aquaculture within Galicia, particularly in the O Grove region. The raft culture of Galician mussels will captivate you as we glide past the mussel farms that populate the bay of Arosa.

After exploring the areas for harvesting mussels, oysters, and scallops, it will be time for a tasting experience! Onboard, you will savor steamed mussels sourced directly from the estuary, complemented by water, wine, or soft drinks. This tasting will reveal why mussels are such a cherished product of O Grove!

As we make our way back to the port, you will have the chance to peer through the glass bottom of the boat and appreciate the vibrant underwater life.

After a delightful 75 minutes of cruising through the estuary, we will return to the O Grove port, where we will disembark and bid farewell.
