Detroit Ghost Tour
Description
Detroit, known as the Motor City, also carries the eerie title of Murder City. Uncover the city's concealed dark history on a ghost tour that takes you to its most notorious haunted locations.
Unveil the Dark Secrets of Detroit
Welcome to Detroit, the renowned Motor City and the historic birthplace of the American automotive industry. This city showcases a vibrant cultural background intertwined with its industrial legacy, but it also harbors a shadowy history that remains largely unknown. Join us at the Alhambra Building in the heart of downtown as we embark on a journey through Detroit's ghostly past.
Our adventure begins at the Alhambra Building, a vacant apartment complex once inhabited by the wealthy. Over time, it transformed into a site notorious for crime. What sinister events and unsettling spirits lurk here? We’ll explore these mysteries during the tour, featuring the tale of the infamous Rose Barron and her connections to the hauntings.
Next, we will stroll to the Whitney, a former family estate that suffered a tragic decline due to an ill-fated marriage. Our path will also take us to the extraordinary site of the world’s largest Masonic Temple, a headquarters for the enigmatic secret society known as the Freemasons.
While navigating through the city, our knowledgeable guide will share horrifying anecdotes of several notorious figures linked to Detroit. One intriguing narrative recounts how the legendary magician Harry Houdini performed his last (and eternal) vanishing act at Grace Hospital. Not to be overlooked, even Prince is part of Detroit's spectral lore!
After an hour filled with chilling tales and dark discoveries, we’ll conclude our tour back at our starting point. Boo!
