The first destination will be the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you will gain insights into the devastating events of 1994, when the Hutu government attempted to exterminate the Tutsi population. This tragic chapter has been the subject of numerous literary and cinematic works, including the acclaimed film Hotel Rwanda, which received a nomination for Best Original Screenplay at the 2004 Academy Awards.

After understanding the somber history associated with the memorial, which serves as the final resting place for over 250,000 victims, we'll journey to Kimironko Market, the largest market in Kigali. Next, we will visit the Inema Art Center, where you can appreciate the creativity of local artists.

Continuing with our Kigali tour, we will stop by the renowned Inzora Rooftop Café and the Kigali Convention Centre, before making our way to Camp Kigali.
