Private Tour of Gunung Leuser National Park
Your journey will commence with a hotel pickup in Medan at 8:30 am, followed by a drive heading west towards the town of Bohorok, which will take roughly three hours.
Upon arrival at Bohorok, you will have one hour to enjoy lunch at a local establishment. Following this break, we will regroup and proceed to Gunung Leuser National Park. Get ready to encounter the orangutans!
Our exploration will take us on a hike through the lush Indonesian jungle, showcasing the stunning qualities of this UNESCO-recognized rainforest. Over the course of a two-and-a-half-hour trek, we will unveil the primary residents of Gunung Leuser National Park: the orangutans. Prepare for an up-close experience as we learn firsthand about their behaviors in the wild!
You will discover the dietary habits of these primates, observe their climbing techniques, discuss their way of life, and understand the significant threats posed by palm oil plantations to their survival.
Concluding the tour, we will return you to your hotel in Medan by 6 pm.
