Entrance to Warner Bros. Studio Tokyo

Inaugurated in June 2023, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo - The Making of Harry Potter stands as a must-visit destination in the heart of Tokyo for enthusiasts of the films derived from J.K. Rowling's beloved books.

Your ticket to the Harry Potter Studios allows you to navigate various film sets at your own rhythm while uncovering the fascinating secrets that lie behind each scene.

As you wander through the studios, immerse yourself in the magical realm of the young wizard with engaging activities: try out a broomstick ride, capture your very own Hogwarts portrait, participate in a Quidditch match, savor butterbeer, or indulge in afternoon tea with Professor Dolores Umbridge.

The main themed sections of the studios feature sets, props, magical beings, visual effects, and costumes, complemented by a Harry Potter-themed café and shop.

Film Sets to Explore

When you visit the Warner Bros. Studio in Tokyo, you'll have the opportunity to see iconic film sets from the Harry Potter series:

The Great Hall of Hogwarts

Inspired by a 16th-century room at Christ Church in Oxford, the Great Hall of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry serves as the venue for significant events. From Sorting Hat ceremonies to the Yule Ball, many memorable moments occur here.

In the Great Hall, observe the sculptures of the snake, badger, lion, and eagle, which represent Hogwarts’ four houses. You'll also find the Point Counter that keeps score for Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin.

Platform 9 ¾

To reach the legendary magical school, hop on the Hogwarts Express from King's Cross station in London. Here you'll discover Platform 9 ¾, a spot cleverly concealed from Muggles, or non-magical individuals.

Diagon Alley

This hidden London alley, which can only be accessed from the Leaky Cauldron, is filled with numerous shops offering wands, spell books, and Hogwarts robes, catering to every aspiring witch and wizard.

Forbidden Forest

This expansive forest remains prohibited for Hogwarts students, reserved for special occasions like Hagrid's Care of Magical Creatures classes.

Ministry of Magic

Step into the exclusive film set showcasing the London headquarters of the Ministry of Magic at the Tokyo studios. The entrance to this mysterious location is accessed through a series of surprising passages!

Other Themed Areas

In addition to the film sets, your visit will unveil the following captivating spaces:

  • Props: Discover original items utilized in the movies, such as wands and the Goblet of Fire.
  • Magical creatures: This section honors distinctive beings like Dobby the house elf and Buckbeak the hippogriff.
