Our adventure begins at 9:15 am at Abra de Canasí, right next to the charming village of Boca de Canasí. Prepare to embark on an invigorating trekking journey through this natural reserve situated in northern Cuba.

Initially, we’ll encounter a friendly local fishing family who will graciously greet us with a delightful breakfast featuring coffee, toast, and seasonal fruits. After this warm welcome, we’ll wade across the Canasí River to access a trail that sets the stage for a 30-minute hike. This section of the journey takes us through a lush landscape adorned with cove trees, palms, seedlings, and yagrumas.

As we conclude our trek, we’ll reach a scenic spot known as La Cazuela, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Be sure to capture this picturesque scene with your camera, showcasing the stunning clarity of the waters. Following this, we’ll don our snorkelling gear to delve into this aquatic haven, where you'll have the chance to swim like a professional diver. While snorkelling, you’ll encounter vibrant tropical fish, graceful turtles, and the striking elkhorn corals that thrive below the surface.

After our aquatic adventure, it will be time for a replenishing lunch. We’ll pause in the forest to enjoy a light meal, consisting of a sandwich, an appetizer, fresh fruit, and water. Refreshed and energized, we’ll begin our trek back to the starting point, rounding off our experience by 3 pm.
