Horseback Riding Experience in Valle Hermoso

Your day will begin at 8 am with a convenient pickup from your San Fabián de Alico hotel, followed by a short trip to the stable managed by a local guide, Miguel.

After a warm welcome to the horses and a brief discussion on essential safety guidelines, our journey will commence with an unforgettable horseback ride through Valle Hermoso. The ride will total around 6 to 7 hours, with several stops along the way to leisurely admire the beautiful marshes and picturesque views of the Malalcura hill as well as the snow-capped peaks of Chillán.

We will begin our ascent through a vibrant forest, observing the changing vegetation as we climb over 1000 meters (2,280 feet) in elevation. The effort will be rewarded after about three hours of riding when we reach the breathtaking native Coigue forests within Valle Hermoso.

For those wishing to prolong the journey, we can extend the trail ride to a famed vantage point, providing exceptional panoramic views of the Bullileo mountain range and the Chillán volcano. Here, we will pause for a well-earned break, soaking in the stunning landscape. If this viewpoint is not part of your plan, we will stop at a scenic location beforehand.

A delightful picnic lunch awaits, featuring: two sandwiches, a piece of fruit, hard-boiled eggs, nuts, and crackers. You can choose either coffee or herbal tea as your beverage. After this meal, we will relax in the valley, listening to captivating stories from our guide, Miguel.

At the end of our adventure, we will ride back to the stable and then return to your hotel in San Fabián, arriving around 4 pm.

Pickup Location

The service includes hotel pickup for guests staying in downtown San Fabián de Alico. If you are located in a more distant area, pickup will be available at the Plaza de Armas, alongside the Tourist Office.
