Teotihuacan Hot Air Balloon Experience
We will gather at the designated time at the Teotihuacan-Tulancingo highway balloon port. While we wait for the hot air balloon to be set up, enjoy a coffee and some light snacks.
Once preparations are complete, we will step into the basket and begin our balloon journey above Teotihuacan! The ride will last approximately 45-60 minutes, offering spectacular views of the key monuments within the archaeological site. Highlights include the Quetzalpápalotl Palace, the Pyramid of the Moon, the Pyramid of the Sun, and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, along with the renowned Avenue of the Dead.
As we take in the heritage of ancient Mexican civilizations, we will marvel at the impressive scale of this archaeological treasure, undoubtedly one of the most significant sites in the nation.
At the conclusion of our tour, we will celebrate with a glass of sparkling wine and present you with a flight certificate!
Important Information
- The schedule may be adjusted due to weather conditions. If changes occur, you will be informed 12 hours in advance. It is advisable to schedule your flight for the earliest available date. This way, if weather conditions are not suitable, we can rearrange it for another day.
- Do note that the flight path may vary based on wind conditions, and it is possible that we may not fly directly over the Teotihuacan ruins.
- The pricing applies to individuals weighing up to 99 kg (218 lbs). A charge of 30 USD will be applied for each additional kilogram over this weight, payable directly at the launch site.
- If the flight is canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions, a refund will be provided minus 420MXN per passenger for ground transport.
- The balloons are not overfilled, ensuring that you will travel comfortably and securely.

At 5:45 am, you must report to the Globopuerto Aerodiverti de Teotihuacán. This is your exact address: Federal Highway Teotihuacan - Tulancingo Km 28.5 (San Martin de las Piramides, Mexico). Please be punctual.
The schedule may be subject to change due to weather conditions. In case of changes, you'll be notified 12 hours in advance.
Maximum Weight & Documentation
The maximum weight allowed is 99 kilograms (218 lbs) per person. Children weighing more than 40 kilograms (88 lbs) must pay the adult fare.
Remember that on the day of the activity, you must take your valid passport.
At the end of the balloon ride, you'll be able to visit the archaeological site of Teotihuacan on your own. The entrance fee of 105MXN for Mexicans and 210MXN for foreigners is not included.

The estimated flight time is 45-60 minutes. In case the pilot, for safety reasons, decides that the duration of the flight should be shorter, there will be no reimbursement.
