Iguazú Falls Day Trip
Description
Prepare to be enchanted by the stunning Iguazú Falls, one of South America's most impressive natural marvels. Your journey will begin with a day trip from Posadas, exploring the Argentinean side of these iconic waterfalls.
Details of the Day Trip
At the scheduled time, a convenient pick-up will be arranged from your hotel in Posadas, followed by a drive to the northern region of the Argentine province of Misiones. Upon arrival, we will step into the Iguazú National Park, home to the renowned waterfalls recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
This 5-hour exploration of the park will commence at the main visitor center. You will board the eco-friendly jungle train, which facilitates access to various walking trails leading to the falls. As you traverse this remarkable area, prepare to absorb the breathtaking vistas surrounding you.
From the primary walkways at the Iguazú Falls, we will gaze upon the waterfalls from the Argentinean side. One that will definitely capture your attention is the Devil's Throat, an impressive cascade that plunges into the Iguazú River from a staggering height of 262 feet (80 meters), positioned near the Brazilian border.
The 275 waterfalls forming the Iguazú Falls average a flow rate of 62,012 cubic feet (1,756 cubic meters) per second. The striking white of the tumbling water juxtaposes beautifully with the vibrant jungle environment.
During the tour, you will enjoy 1 hour of leisure time to have lunch at the falls' station. After reconvening, we will return you to your hotel in Posadas, concluding the experience after a total of 12 hours.
