Snowshoeing Tour in Inari
Description
Snowshoeing in Inari offers an exceptional chance to immerse yourself in the area's natural beauty and observe wildlife native to the Sapmi region. This experience resembles one out of a storybook!
Description
Our adventure begins at Ivalontie 12, where we will wait for transport to take us toward the Inari region. Esteemed for its significance in Sami culture in Sapmi and remarkable natural landscapes, this region invites exploration!
Upon arrival, we will be equipped with snowshoe gear and venture into the stunning snowscape of Inari. Using walking poles, we will delve into the serene forest, where complete peace and pristine snow await us. It feels as if we are walking through a winter fairytale!
The only tracks we may encounter belong to the local wildlife inhabiting the Sapmi forests. As we embark on our snowshoe hike in Inari, keep a lookout for grouse, reindeer, or moose peacefully grazing in their natural habitat.
When it's time to refuel, we will take a break at a nearby restaurant for lunch, featuring a delicious soup, with options that may include meat, fish, or vegetables, followed by a dessert.
Our journey culminates as we retrace our steps back to the starting point of our hike. There, we will board the vehicle once more to head back to Ivalo. We anticipate returning to the meeting location approximately five hours after our hike commences.
