At the arranged time, our team will greet you at the meeting point before departing from Lima, setting course for Huancaya in a comfortable night bus. Get ready for an enchanting exploration through this picturesque mountain range!
After approximately 10 hours of travel, we will arrive at our destination. Here, you'll have a moment to refresh before we kick off the day's adventure. Enjoy a local breakfast, the ideal way to recharge for the experiences ahead.
Our exploration begins in the vibrant town of Huancaya. A leisurely walk will guide us to the Calincanto colonial bridge, where we can take in the beauty of the Cabracancha waterfall during a short, enjoyable 15-minute trek. Next, we head to the Carhuayno viewpoint, offering spectacular sights of the shimmering lakes that enhance this stunning landscape. These views are sure to inspire awe!
Our journey continues toward the enchanting Huallhua Lagoon. A descent of about 25 minutes will lead us to this serene location, where you can delight in a 40-minute boat ride. Amidst crystal-clear waters, majestic mountains, and cascading waterfalls, you will find yourself enveloped in a true natural paradise.
To return to our transport, we will take a 40-minute uphill walk. Once we arrive back in the village, we will head to the Plaza de Armas, where you will have leisure time to indulge in traditional cuisine and enjoy a local lunch.
After revitalizing, we will commence our return journey to Lima. Along the way, we will stop at Piquecocha Lagoon, an ideal location for capturing memorable photographs, and make another stop for snacks to enjoy on our ride back.
Our adventure will conclude upon arriving in Lima, where we will bid farewell at the meeting point around 11:30 pm.
