Immerse yourself in Vietnam's artisanal tradition on this day trip from Hanoi. You'll explore the world of incense making and discover the ancient art of the iconic Vietnamese hats.

Day Trip Options

During the booking process, you can choose between the following options:

6-Hour Day Trip

Pickup will be at your hotel in Hanoi. The tour begins at Chuong, known for over 300 years of traditional conical hat production. You will walk among workshops, observing the process and have 30 minutes to paint a hat as a souvenir.

The next stop is Quang Phu Cau, the Incense Village, where you can see colorful bundles of incense sticks drying and visit a workshop to learn about the incense-making process. You'll also visit the largest incense factory in town.

After the tour, you can choose to end it at Hanoi Train Street or another central location.

9-Hour Day Trip

This option includes an additional stop at Ha Thai, known for lacquer painting. An artist will demonstrate the process, and you can create your own lacquer piece. Afterward, in Chuong, enjoy a homemade lunch made with local ingredients and have the chance to personalize your own conical hat.

In the afternoon, the tour continues to Quang Phu Cau for more insights into incense production and a visit to the largest incense factory.

Upon returning to Hanoi, you'll be dropped off at Hanoi Train Street or another central point.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup is included at your hotel in the old town of Hanoi. For hotels outside the old town, meet in front of the Phe La Coffee café.
