Our adventure begins at the designated hour at the Port of Combarro, where the ferry departs towards the island of Ons, situated in the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park.
Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the island's breathtaking landscapes, characterized by stunning beaches and ideal hiking trails that lead into the mountainous terrain of Ons. It's fascinating to note that this island has been inhabited since prehistoric eras, and we will share intriguing tales about its past.
We encourage you to savor a meal at a local eatery, where you can indulge in the traditional cuisine of the island, featuring specialties like pulpo (octopus), a true local treat!
At day's end, please ensure you are back at the pier on Ons Island at the specified time to board the ferry returning to Combarro.
Entry Permit for Ons Island
Being a protected site, Ons Island has a cap on daily visitors. To gain entry, you must register and obtain a permit from the Xunta de Galicia.
Do take into account that during the peak season (from 15th May to 30th September and during Easter), it is essential to present your own permit issued by the Xunta de Galicia to access Ons. We will email this permit to you promptly. However, outside of these dates, we will not send it; instead, the guide will provide it on the day of your visit.
If any member of your party is unable to attend for any reason, please inform us with at least 15 days' notice so that the Xunta de Galicia can remove the name from their registry.
Guided Exploration of Ons Island
From 1st October to 14th May, your ferry ticket will also include a one-hour guided exploration of Ons Island. Please note that this tour is not available during the ten days of the Holy Week tourism peak, from the Friday preceding the holiday through Easter Sunday.

Important information
Schedule & Departure Point
We'll meet at the Port of Combarro, specifically at Avenida de Francisco Regalado, at the indicated time. We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ferry's departure time.
The return ferry to Combarro will depart from the dock of Ons Island back to the original meeting point.
Necessary Documentation
Ons Island is a protected space with a daily quota of visitors, and to be able to visit, you should obtain authorization from the Xunta de Galicia, which the local provider will process.
In high season (from May 15 to September 30 and at Easter), once the authorization has been processed, you'll receive it by email. You must bring it with you, as well as this voucher. If you prefer, you can request it at the ticket office on the day of your visit, as long as you arrive at least 25 minutes in advance. The rest of the year, we will not send it to you, as it'll be the guide himself who will bring it on the day of the tour.
If you still haven't received the authorization of the Xunta in your email 24 hours before the date of your visit, you can access the website of the Xunta and download the authorizations by following these steps:

- Once on the page, select option #3 "Search by date and visitor's document"
- After filling in your details, you'll be able to download the authorization directly
If, for any reason, any of the participants cannot attend the activity, please give at least 15 days' notice and indicate the name and surname of the person who will be absent so that the Xunta de Galicia can remove him/her from the list.
Terms & Conditions
Tickets can only be issued up to 30 minutes before the departure of the ferry and at the port corresponding to your journey.
The ticket is null and void and has no value outside the day and time indicated on the ticket. If the ticket is lost or mislaid, a new ticket must be purchased.
You'll need to be at the pier 10 minutes before departure and/or return time with your boarding ticket and the enclosed permit to disembark at Ons Island.
The company is entitled to modify the timetables advertised and even suspend and cancel the trip for internal, technical-logistical or organisational reasons, as well as for reasons of weather or force majeure. It may also make any kind of intermediate stopover.
