Jungfrau Day Trip
Your journey begins in Geneva, where you will gather at the predetermined location before heading into the stunning Swiss countryside. Your first stop will be in Interlaken, the vibrant heart of the Bernese Oberland, where you can pause to soak in the remarkable sights of the surrounding Alps and the tranquil Thun and Brienz Lakes.
Next, the adventure continues to Lauterbrunnen, a village harmoniously situated in a picturesque Alpine valley. Here, you will board the rack railway that surges upward toward the highest train station in Europe, perched at an elevation of over 11,600 feet (more than 3,500 meters) above sea level.
Upon reaching the summit of Jungfrau, you will step into the Sphinx Observatory, where you will be greeted by stunning panoramic vistas showcasing the iconic peaks of Eiger and Mönch in the Swiss Alps.
You will also have the chance to navigate through an ice tunnel sculpted from a glacier and uncover the fascinating history of this peak, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is an authentic Alpine experience you won’t want to miss!
After enjoying all that the Top of Europe has to offer, you will make your way back to Interlaken, where you can relish some leisure time to wander through this quaint town and explore its traditional shops.
