Gather at the shore of the Juramento River at the designated time to embark on a rafting journey that will elevate your adrenaline levels. Are you prepared to face the roaring rapids?
Your adventure commences with a brief safety orientation at our riverside base camp. After the briefing, we will equip you with helmets and life jackets before launching the rafts onto the river. This rafting excursion will span approximately 2 hours, guiding you through an exciting stretch that includes 10 Class III rapids and 5 Class II rapids. A truly memorable expedition!
As you navigate, take in the breathtaking sights of the Juramento River canyon, where ancient rocks over 65 million years old house a wealth of prehistoric fossils. The thrilling 12-kilometer (7.5 miles) descent concludes at a location known as Los Lapachos. Following this, you will return to the camp to share stories and unwind after your invigorating journey.
Ultimately, this action-packed adventure will wrap up after 3.5 hours at the original meeting point.
Available Options
When reserving your place, you may select from the following choices:
- Rafting Tour without transfer: Engage in the rafting experience as detailed above.
- Rafting Tour without transfer and with meal: This option pairs the rafting adventure with a delectable buffet-style barbecue, featuring assorted meats and salads for your post-activity refueling.
- Rafting Tour with transfer and meal: If you lack personal transportation, we will provide a ride from Salta to the Juramento River base. Additionally, indulge in a complete buffet-style barbecue following your rafting adventure.
Essential Information
For those opting for packages without transfers, please be aware that the meeting location is situated approximately 2 hours by car from downtown Salta. We recommend having your own vehicle to access the meeting site and participate in the activity.

Accessibility
Only some areas are accessible. Accessible toilets. An accompanying person is required. This must be indicated in the reservation.
Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the Salta Rafting base, located at RP47 Km 34, A4400 Coronel Moldes, Salta, Argentina. You can check the exact meeting point at the following Google Maps link: https://goo.gl/maps/cRK65TosShB2. We recommend arriving at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
Upon arrival, you'll need to register with Donnovan.
We recommend bringing swimwear, comfortable footwear, warm clothing depending on the season, sunglasses, a hat or cap, a towel, and dry clothes to change into after the activity.
How to Get There?
To reach the meeting point, you'll need your own car, as the base is located approximately 2 hours from downtown Salta.
You will need to take Route 68 toward Coronel Moldes. Continue along Route 47, following the shoreline of the Cabra Corral Dam. At the end of the dam, a dirt road of approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) begins and will take you directly to the base.

If you have selected the option that includes transfer from Salta, we will contact you to arrange a central meeting point. In this case, the activity will begin at 8 am.
