Kaohsiung Guided Tour
Description
The Tiger and Dragon Pagodas, the Temple of Confucius, and Lotus Lake are among the highlights of this guided exploration of Kaohsiung.
Description
Our adventure begins at the New Zuoying MRT Station, where we will gather at the agreed-upon time. From there, we will head towards Lotus Lake, a significant body of water that serves as a focal point of Kaohsiung, bordered by various pagodas, bustling markets, and key historical sites. In the summer months, vibrant Lotus Flowers bloom across the lake, creating a breathtaking floral spectacle, well worth experiencing.
Our itinerary will then lead us to a remarkable destination: Confucius's Temple, dedicated to the renowned philosopher of China. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the grounds and appreciate its grand architecture. Additionally, you will be invited to write a prayer inside the temple, adding a personal touch to your visit.
Continuing along the shores of the lake, we will make our way to the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas. These impressive structures offer a fascinating glimpse into local culture, and we will uncover the meanings behind them. You will also have the chance to ascend to the top of one pagoda to take in breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
Our journey culminates in the oldest section of Kaohsiung, where we will view the remnants of the ancient walls. This marks the conclusion of our two-hour tour, filled with rich history and stunning sights.
