Experience the stunning landscapes of Almeria with an exhilarating kayak and snorkel adventure in Cabo de Gata departing from La Fabriquilla. This journey offers a distinct viewpoint of Spain’s marvelous southern coastline while you paddle through tranquil waters.

Activity Overview

Our adventure commences at La Fabriquilla Beach in Almeria, where we'll embark on a remarkable kayak exploration along the scenic Cabo de Gata coastline.

After an introduction to kayaking basics, you'll set off into the sea, paddling eastward. While navigating the waters, take in the stunning vistas that characterize this remarkable location.

Throughout the 2-hour excursion, your guide will share intriguing insights about the history, wildlife, and geology of Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. Following this informative segment, we’ll don our snorkels and jump into the water for an exciting snorkeling session. Here, you may encounter vibrant schools of fish, rays, and, with some luck, even sea turtles.

After our snorkeling experience, we'll continue our kayaking journey until we arrive at the stunning Las Sirenas reef. This spot rewards us with magnificent views of Cabo de Gata and its iconic lighthouse.

Finally, we'll begin our return to the starting point, where we’ll wrap up our adventure and bid farewell.

Photo Opportunities

During the kayaking tour, we will capture moments through a photo report. You will receive a link at the conclusion of the adventure, allowing you to download the photos free of charge two weeks later.

Requirements for Participation

• This activity is not suitable for children under 4 years or adults over 75 years of age.
• Participants must be proficient swimmers and capable of paddling the kayak on their own.
• It is important to consider that this activity is not recommended for individuals with physical limitations, medical conditions, mobility challenges, or pregnant individuals.

• The maximum weight allowance per kayak is 260 kg (573 pounds), accommodating up to 4 individuals.

Change of Meeting Location

Provided conditions are favorable, the activity will start at La Fabriquilla Beach. However, in the event of unfavorable weather, we may adjust the meeting spot to a nearby location, such as Cuervo Cove or Agua Amarga Beach. If such changes are necessary, we will notify you the day before the tour.
