Le Morne Brabant Trekking Tour

At the designated time, our team will meet you at your hotel on the picturesque Le Morne Brabant peninsula situated at the southwestern corner of Mauritius.

We will embark on a 4x4 drive to the mountain's northeastern slope, where the trekking adventure begins. This journey will take us approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on the pace of the group, as we traverse a total distance of 5.6 kilometers. Along the way, we will pause multiple times to appreciate the stunning natural beauty surrounding us, all part of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

During the initial segment of the hike, we will ascend up to 200 meters to witness the sunrise over the Le Morne bay. The early morning light bathes this region of Mauritius in vibrant shades of orange and red, creating a memorable vision! After taking in the breathtaking dawn over the Indian Ocean, we will continue our ascent toward the summit of Le Morne Brabant.

The peak of this iconic mountain reaches 465 meters. Once at the top, we will enjoy a peaceful 45-minute break to soak in the panoramic views. From this elevated vantage point, we can observe the lush valleys below and spot the Benitiers and Fourneau islands, located to the north and south of the peninsula respectively.

Afterward, we will begin our descent back to the base of the mountain. Following the trek, we will return by 4x4 to our initial meeting point, arriving between 9 am and 10 am.
