Starting with a pickup from your hotel at the scheduled time, our journey will take you to some of the key attractions in Hangzhou. Following the famed Legend of the White Snake, a tale central to Chinese folklore, we'll visit the Leifeng Pagoda, situated on Sunset Hill just south of West Lake. Here, we'll dedicate an hour and a half to exploring the intriguing narratives surrounding this octagonal, five-story structure, originally constructed in 975 AD.

After our time at the pagoda, we will proceed to the National China Silk Museum, where you’ll gain insight into silk production that has thrived in the region for over five millennia. Furthermore, we’ll delve into the significance of the Silk Road throughout Chinese history.

Around midday, we will take a much-deserved break for a tasty lunch featuring traditional Hangzhou dishes at a local venue (meal not included).

Refreshed, we'll continue our excursion to the former estate of Hu Xueyan, a vast complex that showcases the opulent lifestyles enjoyed by affluent families during the late Qing Dynasty. This stop offers a chance to learn about Chinese architectural styles and to enjoy the Zhiyuan Garden, home to China's largest artificial cave.

Next, we'll make our way to Qinghefang Street, recognized as the city's most historic shopping avenue, where we will spend an hour browsing. Enjoy a leisurely walk alongside its age-old shops, indulge in local snacks, or opt to visit the Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine to discover traditional herbal remedies.

After approximately 8 hours, we will return you to your hotel, concluding our delightful day of exploration.
