Your off-roading vehicle tour will commence with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Atins. Once everyone is settled in, we will embark on a path that captures the wild beauty of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park.

Transitioning from paved roads, we’ll navigate sandy tracks that undulate like breathing dunes. Interestingly, these dynamic landscapes can shift several meters each year!

Our first destination will be the tranquil Kite Lagoon, a stunning body of water that mirrors the surroundings and is framed by resilient shrubs adapted to the dry climate. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to refresh yourself in warm, gentle waters home to fascinating tiny organisms that thrive in a cycle of rainfall and evaporation.

Next, we’ll make our way to Gavião Lagoon, renowned for its breathtaking turquoise hues reminiscent of an exquisite painting. Locals proclaim this lagoon captures the sky’s colors better than any other, thanks to its unique mineral composition. Don’t forget your camera, as this vista is truly photogenic!

When it’s time for a meal, we’ll pause for a 1-hour break at a local eatery, allowing you to savor lunch at your leisure. Afterward, our exploration of Lençóis Maranhenses will continue as we seek out the enchanting Maria Vitória and Gorjeta lagoons, each offering its own distinct allure.
