The Alps and Lake Geneva are renowned destinations in Switzerland. This day excursion to Les Diablerets and Montreux originating from Lausanne offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in the picturesque countryside, finishing with a ride on the Glacier 3000 Cable Car.

Description

We will convene at the specified time outside the Aquatis Vennes aquarium in Lausanne and commence our journey towards Les Diablerets.

After an hour's drive, we will reach this enchanting area, celebrated as one of the most stunning alpine towns in Vaud. Here, amidst the lush greenery and charming wooden chalets, you'll have 4 hours of leisure to wander and take in the majestic snow-capped peaks. Additionally, this is an ideal opportunity to savor some delightful Swiss dishes.

In the afternoon, we will leave behind the alpine landscapes and head toward the shores of Lake Geneva, stopping at the picturesque town of Montreux. You will have one hour to stroll through its delightful streets.

While exploring Montreux, make sure to capture a moment with the Freddie Mercury statue. Notably, the legendary singer made this town his home, and his likeness is situated along the shores of Lake Geneva, making it one of the most photographed spots in the area.

At the end of our visit, we will head back to Lausanne, with an expected return to the meeting point approximately 8 hours and 45 minutes after we set out.

Glacier 3000 Cable Car

By selecting this option, you will have the advantage of the included Glacier 3000 cable car. During your free time in Les Diablerets, you can ascend to 3,000 metres (9,840 feet) and explore one of the most renowned alpine stations in Switzerland.

The ticket to Glacier 3000 also grants access to The Peak Walk by Tissot. This stunning bridge is 108 metres (354 feet) in length and 80 cm (32 inches) in width, soaring at 3,000 metres (9,840 feet). From this vantage point, you can admire both peaks of the Tsanfleuron glacier: the View Point and Scex Rouge.

Your admission also covers entry to the Fun Park, a thrilling adventure zone at Glacier 3000 featuring attractions suitable for all ages. Please note that this park is accessible only during the Spring and Summer seasons.

At Glacier 3000, you will also find the Alpine Coaster. However, this amusement ride is not included in your ticket price. If you wish to experience it, you can purchase access directly at the ticket office on the day of the activity.
