Day Trip Overview

The adventure begins at the Aix-en-Provence Tourist Office, where participants will gather at the scheduled time before boarding a minibus for a scenic exploration of the picturesque villages of Luberon. The sequence of our town visits may vary based on the day.

Your first stop will be in Roussillon, recognized as one of the most stunning villages in France. The striking ochre houses alongside the majestic cliffs promise to leave a lasting impression! We will also pass through Lourmarin, renowned for its exquisite Renaissance castle, giving you ample opportunity to wander through its charming streets and appreciate the diverse architectural styles present.

Next, we will travel to Ansouis, a village in Provence that is sure to enchant you! A brief visit to Gordes will follow, where you can soak in the sights of a historic castle and gaze at stunning panoramic views.

As a highlight, we’ll explore a traditional Provencal market, perfect for picking up unique souvenirs. You can find an array of local artisanal products including handmade soaps, fragrant lavender, cheeses, and fresh fruits. Depending on the day of the week, we will visit the market in Gordes on Tuesdays, Roussillon on Thursdays, Lourmarin on Fridays, and Ansouis on Sundays.

Your 8-hour journey will conclude with a return to the original meeting point in Aix-en-Provence.
