Macau Day Trip

At the scheduled time, you will be collected from your Hong Kong hotel for a scenic drive to Macau, which retained its status as a Portuguese territory until 1999, marking it as the last European enclave in the East.

Approximately three hours into our journey, we will arrive in Macau and first visit one of its internationally renowned casinos: The Venetian Macau. Often referred to as the East Las Vegas, you will learn about the casino’s intriguing background and have free time to try your luck on the gaming floor.

Next, we will proceed to the impressive Kum Iam statue, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. Standing at 20 meters (65 ft), this statue makes for a great photo opportunity before we take a well-deserved break at the Old Hotel Central, where you can enjoy a delectable buffet lunch.

After lunch, we will continue our Macau exploration, visiting the iconic ruins of St. Paul and the unique Na Cha Chinese-style temple. During our journey, we will also pass through the historic Senado Square, located in the heart of the city.

Our adventure leads us next to the Macau Tower, an architectural marvel by New Zealand architect Gordon Moller, soaring 330 meters (1,080 ft) high, making it one of the tallest structures globally.

To conclude our itinerary, we'll pay a visit to the A-Ma Temple, recognized as a World Heritage Site and one of the most prominent Taoist temples worldwide.

As the day ends, we'll make our way to Macau Port to board a ferry back to Hong Kong. We’ll then return you to your accommodation, wrapping up a memorable 12-hour adventure.

This excursion will be led by an English-speaking guide. However, in the presence of a Chinese participant in the group, the guide may provide information in both English and Chinese.

Itinerary Changes

Please be advised that for bookings dated on or after September 1, 2026, the day trip itinerary will include the following adjustments:

• Travel: the outward journey will be via high-speed ferry, with the return leg by bus.
• Lunch: a buffet featuring local and international dishes will be served at a 4-star hotel.
• Stops: the visit to the Macau Tower will be limited to a photo opportunity, while the afternoon schedule will include the Venetian Macau. The visit to Na Cha Temple will be omitted.
