Description
Experience the incredible archaeological treasure of the Inca civilization with this exceptional private tour to Machu Picchu. Enjoy personalized attention from an expert guide exclusively for you and your companions. This is a journey not to be missed!
Private Tour Overview
We will convene at your preferred time at the Aguas Calientes train station and board a bus headed for Machu Picchu, where an in-depth guided exploration of the remarkable ruins awaits. Did you know that UNESCO designated it as a World Heritage Site in 1981?
After traveling for approximately 30 to 45 minutes, we will ascend to an altitude of over 7874 feet (2400 meters), revealing the breathtaking lost city of the Incas, nestled within the majestic Andes.
Upon entering this vast site, covering nearly 92200 acres (37302 hectares), recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, we will initiate a guided tour lasting between 2.5 to 3 hours. Here, you will discover the rich history of the city, which, according to legend, served as the residence of Pachacútec, the ninth ruler of the Inca Empire. Numerous intriguing stories and facts about this celebrated destination will be shared.
As our exploration unfolds, you will come to understand why this site is regarded as one of the world's top tourist destinations. Prepare for an unforgettable experience as we walk through the streets and paths surrounding around 60 monuments near Machu Picchu's central square.
The tour will conclude as we return via minibus to the original meeting point, concluding this 4 to 4 hours and 15-minute journey with a fond farewell.
