Your adventure starts at 9:10 am at the Castellón Tourist Office, where we'll board a minibus heading towards Upper Maestrazgo. This region is home to the Maestrazgo Mining Park, an intriguing local landmark. Let's begin!

A delightful mining train will transport us to the entrance of the Victoria Mine. Equipped with safety helmets, we'll venture into this underground space, uncovering the brave efforts of miners from centuries past. What were their working methods? What minerals did they extract? How safe were these mines? We'll explore these queries throughout our visit...

During the tour, you will encounter various mining tools, authentic carts, and informative displays that will enhance your understanding of what life was like in the Maestrazgo Mining Park.

After returning to the surface, we'll climb back on the train to continue to the Esperanza Mine. In this subterranean cavern, our focus shifts to the natural environment within the caves. Discussions will cover geological occurrences, revealing shafts and observing centuries-old stalactites.

Next, we'll travel by minibus to Culla, a town rich in medieval history and connected to the Templars. While exploring the town’s links to the Order of the Temple, we'll pass notable sites such as the 11th-century castle, the Commander's granary, and the former hospital.

Finally, we will head back to Castellón de la Plana, with an expected arrival at around 1:50 pm.
