Embark on a thrilling adventure as we explore the renowned waterfalls of Rio Grande do Sul in a 4x4 vehicle.

Description

At the chosen time, we will convene at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância to kick off our exciting 4x4 excursion through Mampituba, renowned for its stunning waterfalls.

The journey begins as we navigate through an area teeming with vibrant forests and banana plants, leading us to our initial destination. Here, we’ll set out on a scenic 1.6-kilometre (1 mile) hiking trail that guides us to the breathtaking Leite waterfall, nestled beside the majestic Itaimbezinho Canyon, where the water cascades into a picturesque natural pool.

Once we soak in the beauty, we’ll hop back into the 4x4 and continue our expedition through the captivating landscapes of Mampituba, moving towards our second stop. This leg of the journey features another hiking segment, approximately 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) long, culminating at the Cipó waterfall.

Close to the border between Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, you will have a leisurely 20 minutes to indulge in a refreshing swim. The temperate climate of this southern region of Brazil promises a delightful way to unwind after the hike.

Concluding our adventure, we will retrace our steps back to the starting point, where our 4x4 vehicle will be ready to whisk us back to Mampituba, with an estimated arrival around 2 hours following the pickup.
