At the designated hour, our team will collect you from your accommodation in Porlamar to commence this extensive exploration of Margarita Island. Are you prepared to experience the highlights of this paradise in the Venezuelan Caribbean?

Our adventure begins in Pampatar. Here, we'll explore the Plaza de Armas and the historic church of Cristo del Buen Viaje, a cherished site for local mariners that has stood for centuries. Subsequently, we'll visit the Castle of San Carlos Borromeo, an impressive seaside fortress that evokes the colonial era. To enhance our visit, we’ll climb to the Punta Ballena lighthouse, offering stunning views of the majestic Pampatar Salt Flats.

The tour then progresses to the revered Basílica Menor de la Virgen del Valle, a tranquil sanctuary integral to the community's spiritual life. Our next stop will be in the historic center of La Asunción, where we’ll meander through the Plaza Bolívar, and visit the Cathedral along with the Castle of Santa Rosa, a great place to purchase handicrafts that celebrate the island's diverse culture.

From La Asunción, we will make our way to the Macanao Peninsula. On route, we will pass the notable Tetas de María Guevara, two hills that symbolize Isla Margarita. Continuing onward, we will reach the picturesque beaches of La Auyama and El Coco, where lush, colorful flora meets stunning sandy shores, providing a breathtaking view of unspoiled tropical scenery.

For our lunch stop, we will arrive at Punta Arenas beach, enjoying a meal in a charming local restaurant that reflects island culture. We will savor a traditional empanada margariteña as an appetizer, followed by a local delicacy from the region.

After a leisurely afternoon at the beach, we will visit the Boca Chica Lagoon, which offers spectacular panoramic vistas. To conclude our day, we will reach the fort of La Galera, where you can witness one of the most breathtaking sunsets on Margarita Island.
