Our meeting point is conveniently located in front of the statue of King George V, situated in the heart of the city. From here, we will set off on a delightful expedition through the captivating markets and bazaars of Chennai.
The first destination on our itinerary is Sowcarpet, a historic and vital commercial district within the city. As you wander through its enchanting streets and engaging stalls, you’ll uncover the rich trading history that spans from ancient times to the contemporary landscape.
Next, we will make our way to Godown Street, famed for its extensive range of textiles, garments, saris, and vibrant Indian wear.
